1) All bookings must be paid for within 72 hours of you receiving a booking confirmation number. Failure to do so may result in your booking being cancelled and you will need to re-book.

2) The check in kiosk at Porto de Pesca, Maputo will open 60 (sixty) minutes before the scheduled time of departure. Any passenger who arrives after departure will forfeit his or her seat and no refund or credit will be given.

3) Each passenger is allowed 20kg of Luggage. Any excess over 20kg is chargeable at an excess fee per kilo. Bicycles, fishing equipment, golf clubs, surfboards, boxes of food, etc., are not considered normal items of baggage and will only be carried subject to availability of space. An excess baggage fee will be charged if these.

4) If we reschedule a trip (for any reason), we reserve the right to either carry you at a later time, or refund the portion of the journey not made. We do not provide meals, meal vouchers or hotel accommodation in the event of a rescheduling.

5) Reservations can be changed up to 24 (twenty-four) hours before the scheduled time of departure subject to seats being available on the new date. You can change your reservation subject to payment of a change of reservation fee per passenger per ticket, plus any difference in the available fare. If the available fare is lower, no refund will be issued. Our current change of reservation fee is $10 per passenger. For group bookings we require a non-refundable 50% deposit.

6) Dangerous articles (such as compressed gases, corrosives, explosives, flammable liquids and solids, radioactive materials, oxidising materials, poisons and infectious substances) must not be carried in baggage. Ask us if you are unsure what items are regarded as dangerous

7) We do not accept unaccompanied children under the age of 12 (twelve) years of age for travel. Every infant is to be accompanied by one adult.

8) We do not carry firearms and ammunition; this includes sporting firearms and ammunition. We do not carry live animals (such as insects, reptiles or other form of livestock and the like) with the exception of guide dogs accompanying passengers with disabilities. See our conditions of carriage for further details with regard to the carriage of animals.

9) We make every effort to provide seats for people who have a confirmed reservation. Rarely, a seat may not be available for which a passenger has a confirmed reservation. Should such an occasion arise, an affected passenger will be able to choose to be carried later or a refund of that portion of the journey not made. In such event we shall have no further liability whatsoever in respect of any loss or damage resulting from the non-availability of a seat.

10) While you may be assigned a seat, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to sit in any particular seat. We can change your seat at any time, even after you have boarded the ferry, as we may need to do this for operational, comfort, safety or security reasons.

11) Drinks (a limited variety) will be available for sale on board.

12) If, in our reasonable opinion, you conduct yourself aboard the craft so as to endanger the craft or any person or property on board, or obstruct the crew in the performance of their duties, or fail to comply with any instructions of the crew including but not limited to those with respect to smoking, alcohol or drug consumption, or behave in a manner which causes discomfort, inconvenience, damage or injury to other passengers or the crew, we may take such measures as we deem reasonably necessary to prevent continuation of such conduct, including restraint. You may be disembarked and refused onward carriage at any point, and may be prosecuted for offences committed on board.

12.1) If you conduct yourself in a manner described in Paragraph (12) above, you will reimburse us for all claims, losses, fines, penalties or expenses, including, but not limited to, all costs arising from the diversion of the craft for the purpose of offloading you and all losses suffered or incurred by us, our Agents, employees, independent contractors, passengers and any third party in respect of death, injury, loss, damage or delay to other persons or to property, arising from your misconduct.
